There is no cost to attend as a guest or visitor. Once you’ve attended a few meetings, you can decide if you want to join the club and become a paid member.

Toastmasters International is a worldwide organisation of clubs, committed to training people in the art of public speaking and running efficient meetings. The organisation was founded in 1924 by the visionary leader, Ralph Smedley, who saw a need to help people aquire the skills to express themselves in a variety of situations. He was keen to ensure meetings were sociable – as we learn best in moments of enjoyment. The Toast, a speech given at a social event was woven together with the idea of mastery – and thus the name “Toastmasters” was created.
